A Disclaimer
As the subtitle of this blog clearly states, I am not, nor ever have been, a scientist. As such I am more than willing to admit that I sometimes make mistakes about, misinterpret, and/or misrepresent information in regards to the sciences. I try hard to check my facts and present material as accurately as possible but I am only human and so this isn’t always successful
An Invitation
I invite anybody to join the conversation on this blog. If you find something that looks wrong or in need of clarification let me know. If you want to make a general comment please do. If you have a question, ask away! I love discussion and will generally try to reply to any comments left here.
A Warning
While I am all for comments and discussion I do make a simple request. Please keep it clean and appropriate. If you disagree with a statement I’ve made or wish to debate a topic please be respectful. I don’t think this is too much to ask. If a comment is inappropriate, disrespectful or derogatory I have absolutely no qualms about deleting it, and if necessary blocking the commenter.
Thanks!
I’m curious…what do you do for work?
I actually work in a library but not as a librarian. My job is to help with training of all new staff as well as developing further education opportunities for all employee in the system. Kind of a random job, but a relatively fun one. And hey, it is awesome working in a library, all the resources you could ever want are available right in the work place.
Did you see this story about ‘Darwinopterus’…a Pterodactyl that clear evidence of evolution according to the scientist who discovered it.
Check it out: http://www.cnn.com/2009/TECH/science/10/14/darwinopterus.dinosaur.fossil/index.html
It sounds familiar. Cool article. Thanks for sending it along.
